 Hi , finally I have taken plunge into content creation on Youtube in order to satiate my desire to be more creative on that media. I created an introductory video as well in order to announce my arrival on that channel.  I just hope I say consistent on this media and create videos that are relevant to the viewers.  So please like and subscribe my channel 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅

 

I have not posted many blogs in a while but still this is a medium that always has been very close to my heart. I am not sure how but lately my interest  in watching video blogs/video logs or vlogs in short on youtube has considerably increased. It is no news that the medium of the moving pictures has just taken over the entire world by storm , much faster than how blogging had become a trend.  So, what is the reason behind this shift ?  I am no expert researching this for my PhD, but what I think is that the "vlogging" is an easier medium to express.  Blogging requires telling a story and a well written blog helps the reader in visualising the story being told.  Vlogging on the other hand , is already a step ahead, where you are  experiencing a visual story upfront.  You tube or other mushrooming micro vlogging sites , are  impactful, easy to comprehend and more convincing without requiring the viewer to have a sound vocabulary or dictionary by s...

Sony SLT A77; Sony 500 F8 AF Reflex. I think I am in love again !  It is like a centrifugal force , which is making me continuously fall for my wonder lens Sony 500mm Reflex. The more I see it on Sony SLT A77 , I feel the match was made in heaven. SLT A77 is a perfect enthusiast camera . It offers good enough ISO range along with In body Stabilisation that  I am able to overcome the limitation of fixed F8 on the Reflex lens in most cases. 500 mm Reflex is so compact and lightweight. The SLT A77 and 500mm Reflex combination is thus a solid and compact system for bird, wildlife and action  photography when you can't be up close ! SLT A 77 has many pros that help .. it has very fast AF system coupled with 12 FPS.To top it  autofocus Reflex lens ( one of its kind) certainly helps you use the system in the action photography. Keoladeo National Park, in Bharatpur, around 3 hours drive from delhi is truly a World heritage site.  Bharatpur in my opinion presents the best environment for migratory birds, be it grassland, large trees or swamps. No wonder! it hosts around 370 bird species, many snake species and more than 70 species of butterflies. With Government taking the water shortage in bharatpur seriously , this season the entire park is well " flooded " . This season , hopefully we will see Bharatpur in "full Glory " . Diwali always brings happiness around you and the hustle and bustle in towns and cities across India is worth capturing . Though I didn't have any plans to do some street photography , I took my Minolta dynax 9 around when my wife asked me to accompany her for some last minute shopping for the Laxmi pujan . For the uninitiated Goddess laxmi is offered prayers on the Diwali day to bring prosperity . Here are some of the photos I clicked as we rushed through the shops located nearby !! As aashi ( My year and a half old daughter ) stood mesmerized looking at so many things that interested her ( read: colorful and breakable ) , I noticed her image in this decorative mirror . I positioned myself to frame her within this looking glass and she fortunately cooperated for that second. Some  incidents  in life, might be trivial , influence your decisions to an extent , they steer your life in certain direction.They have a huge impact on your life . One such moment changed the way I perceived photography. If I introspect,  I have always been in love with photography. It has always been my burning desire to be a very well known photographer and day dreaming about the same hasn't ceased till this very moment. Sony A 100 that i purchased way back in 2006 , was surely my first serious attempt at photography .
